Organised Chaos DotA Social
Published by on
Gamers had buckets of fun at the September Organised Chaos LAN event. With loads of social games happening, gamers could try their hand at some good old classics like Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance, Natural selection and DOTA.
The Dota social was one of the highlights with 6 teams entering in the competition. Each team paid R50 which went into a prize pool for the winning two teams. R 210 for first place and R 90 for second place.
With the assistance of the Organised Chaos Gaming [OCG] clan, we quickly got teams together and registered in a semi-formal competition. The players decided on a single elimination event with the finals being best out of 3 matches.
With the matches played throughout Saturday, it eventually came down to the OCG clan vs the Sex With Drow [SWD] clan. Dirk (Rulerofiron99) and Dietmar (Treath) tried their hand at shout casting and guided us through the events of the final games on the projector screen. At the conclusion of the tournament OCG proved to be too much for the SWD clan to handle and won the tournament with a 2 games to 0 walk over. I would like to thank everyone that participated and hope to see you at the next Organised Chaos social.
