10 years of Chaos

 

We're celebrating our 10th birthday this month by hosting the biggest LAN in Cape Town EVER. Sponsored by Cooler Master, the LAN has ALREADY sold out!

 

What can you expect? Prizes, tournaments, flash mob, cosplay and LOTS of gaming. Many thanks goes out to everyone that has supported us over the past decade. You've made OC what it is today. We look forward to seeing you soon!

 

 

 

Cooler Master is giving away R10,000 in prizes during our Friday night announcements. Total prize purse for the Call of Duty 4 and StarCraft 2 tournaments is R5,250 in cash (excluding prize pool).

 

 

 

Last year the queue for December was huge, resulting in LANers having to wait hours before they could get-in-the-game. To resolve this, we'll be opening our doors five hours early. That's right, OC will be open at 12pm (mid-day). Feel free to come through and experience the full 48 hours of pure gaming pleasure.

 

 

 

We have some GOOD news for you. To cater for those who have been unable to book with us (for whatever reason), seats 1057 - 1216 will only be made available at the event (at-the-door ONLY). So make sure you get in line early to secure your seat!

 

 

 

Back in February, we spontaneously decided to flash mob at the local shopping mall, with great success. This time, we need you to bring a little more than your MINE-MINE-MINE. Grab a Santa hat (or full suit ^^) and prepare for an OC flash mob invasion. More info here and at the LAN.

 

 

 

Both tournaments start on the Saturday of the LAN and both will have cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places! Entry for CoD4 is R150 per team while StarCraft 2 is R30 per player. Further information regarding these tournaments can be found here...

 

 

 

We'll be running Magic The Gathering tournaments all weekend, starting from Friday at noon through to pack-up. The main tournaments will be run on Friday (12pm and 6pm) and Saturday (10am and 5pm). Drafts, EDH and Legacy tournaments will also be setup if there is enough interest - which looks likely. Entry is R30 per tournament.

 

 

 

After the popularity of our previous Chaos-wear and multiple requests for Crew-like-swag, we've decided to release some (sick!) Limited Edition jackets for sale. These come with a one-time embroidery graphic of the 10 Years of Chaos event logo with the option to customise it with your very own gaming nickname. Custom OC wristbands to celebrate 10 years of Chaos will be on sale at the LAN for R20 each. We'll only have a total of 500, so make sure you get yours early.
