Q: What is Organised Chaos?
A: OC is the biggest, monthly LAN (Local Area Network) party in South Africa.
Q: What do I need to do to participate?
A: Your PC or CONSOLE, with keyboard; mouse(mousepad is a must); controllers; power cables; monitor and a power multi-strip. We also suggest clothes, a towel, deoderant and toothbrush/toothpaste so you can freshen up. Bring cash as well to buy stuff at the event.

A: R150 - Normal seat
A: Gigabit is 1000mbit/s and normal is 100mbit/s. Pure maths aside, you get about 5x the download/upload speed on gigabit seats.
Q: How long do you play for?
A: Our events are scheduled for an entire weekend, starting from 5 pm on Fridays and ending at 12 pm noon on Sundays. You can come and go as you please. And NO you don't have to pay twice.
Q: How do we connect?
A: OC Supplies network cables to every single desk. No need to bring your own. We supply you with an IP address, which you need to type into your network card IP configuration.
Q: What about Power?
A: Each player is provided with 1 single socket to plug into. Bring a multi-strip or double adaptor, share and play nice. No UPS's, kettles,fridges or heaters are allowed on the OC power grid.
Q: Is my computer equipment safe?
A: Unfortunately, theft is a reality. OC tries to promote a safe gaming environment and has security guards present at each event. However, the best way to protect yourself is by making friends with those who sit around you. They are as concerned of theft as you are and will gladly watch your back. Remember to keep valuables in your pockets such as Cellphones and Wallets.
Q: Is there an age restriction?
A: There is none. However, if you are younger than 16 you will have to make sure that you get your parents approval to participate in an OC event.
Q: Can girls play?
A: Yes, of course. And there are many girls that come to OC at a regular basis.
Q: Can I buy food there?
A: Yes, we have our regular vendors who make food. Check out the event page to see if their menu's.
